In collaboration with Filmgalerie 451, the Goethe-Institut has launched Goethe on Demand, a free online streaming program. It contains a small but exquisite selection of films and is available worldwide. The availability of Goethe on Demand is extended by one month to the end of July, seeing as in many countries film screenings cannot yet resume normally.
Not only the availability has been extended, but so has the film selection. New additions include among others the documentary Fassbinder – to love without demands (2015), Alles Trick…Spezial a kids animation special with films without words and Beethoven – Tage aus seinem Leben (1976).
All films are available in the original German version, with English subtitles and with subtitles in a few additional languages. Unfortunately, due to license restrictions, not all titles are available in every country.
