AI + Peace

Generation A = Algorithmus

From a historic perspective humanity’s willingness to fight wars has been a driver for technological advances. Artificial intelligence is no exception. Virtual and autonomous warfare has been in development for decades and is not about to stop. In this session we will take an overview of the latest military developments, not to glamourise them but to get an idea of how modern warfare can and will look. This session will also focus on how AI can be used to promote peace and counteract armed conflict in the first place.

What you will learn

  • What role does AI play in modern warfare?
  • How can military developments be regulated?
  • How can we use AI to promote peace?
