On the occasion of 100 years since the birth of Joseph Beuys, in spring of this year a 10-day workshop for young Cypriot artists took place. Central to the workshop was the analysis of the art and philosophy of Beuys, his idea of social sculpture and which relevance his ideas still have for us today. The workshop was conducted by Marina Christodoulidou and five Cypriot artists, who have been influenced in their art by Beuys. Through this workshop ideas for artworks were created, which will be presented in an exhibition from 22 September until 23 October 2021 at the event hall of the Goethe-Institut.
