By air / by rail:
There is a direct ICE train connection from Frankfurt International Airport to Mannheim Central Station (journey time about 35 minutes).
From Mannheim Central Station, take tram line 1 (about 7 minutes) or bus number 710 (about 5 minutes) to the stop “Hochschule”. We recommend travelling by public transport.
By car:
Mannheim is easily accessible via several motorways. Paid parking is available at the institute.
Closure dates
From 24 December 2025 through 6 January 2026 the Goethe-Institut Mannheim will be closed.
