Description

30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, 34 young people from Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden as well as Berlin and Brandenburg dealt with their continent, a "Europe in transition", in a theater production. (After getting to know each other and preparing via app, they worked on a play for Berlin youth in intensive rehearsals in November 2019 in Berlin). In exploring Europe, the young people asked questions about European identity and cultural currents, those that connect and those that are categorized as not belonging.

Learning Objectives: Learners will have more knowledge about Europe and the European Union. Learners will be able to reflect on what Europe means to different people and will be able to express their opinions on the topic of "Europe". Learners can reflect on the concept of "culture". Learners can make grammatically correct statements about European countries (adjectives and prepositions).
