As part of her artistic practice Anna Taina-Nielsen examines the role of the artist in the job market, as well as the performativity of the artwork. On this account she combines the interaction with the audience together with the creative process. This interaction will also be central to her work in Leipzig; visitors in Leipzig should keenly anticipate becoming an active part of Anna Taina-Nielsens‘ pieces in April.

The artist herself has let it be known that she is really looking forward to her residency in Leipzig. Until know she has worked primarily in Scandinavia, so the residency offers her the exciting opportunity to connect with the German art scene – a wish she has held for a long time.
