The workshop will address the selection of the book, the technique of turning countless pages into a screenplay, translating inner monologues into action, emotions in literature and film, dialogues, scenes based on a single sentence, and much more.

Goethe-Institut Sudan in Cairo is offering a unique opportunity for 12 aspiring and amateur Sudanese photographers to spend a week of learning, knowledge, and training with German trainer Andrea Lützen in Cairo. This workshop is aimed at photographers from Sudan and residing in Cairo.

Goethe-Institut Sudan in Cairo is offering a unique opportunity for 1 traineeship, where the selected Sudanese trainee will spend a week of learning, knowledge, and training with German photographer André Lützen in Cairo. This traineeship aims to enable the trainee to design and carry out a photography workshop on his/ her own for the Sudanese community residing in Cairo.

The Goethe-Institut stands in solidarity with the striving artistic and cultural scene of Sudan. We therefore established the Hub for Artists from Sudan who are continuing their valuable work in Sudan, Egypt or other countries in the region. Operating out of Cairo, the hub supports individuals through six-month scholarships (June – Nov 2024) and cultural networks through community events and other activities

الجراج الثقافي هو مساحة ثقافية أسسها معهد جوته الإسكندرية في عام ٢٠١٩ تحت اسم ٦ باب شرق لمنح مساحة للمشهد الثقافي في الإسكندرية - مساحة للتجريب الثقافي والفني والتعبير والتدريب. يهدف الجراج الثقافي من خلال توفير التدريب وخلق منصة لتعزيز المهارات اللازمة للعمل الثقافي والفني لرعاية المشهد الثقافي في الإسكندرية وبالتالي المساهمة في دعم وتقوية الجهات الفاعلة الثقافية.

بعد إعادة هيكلة المساحة في أوائل عام ٢٠٢٤ وتغيير اسمها، سيتم تقديم المساحة كمساحة إقامة قصيرة الأجل للفاعلين والمنظمات الثقافية السكندرية.
