Ganoubia Hora

"Ganoubia Hora" is a feminist youth initiative of an Upper Egyptian nature. It was necessary to spotlight Upper Egyptian activists that no one has ever heard of. These activists suffer as a result of centralization, are ignored by everyone, and work under difficult social and psychological conditions. Believing in their capabilities, it became necessary to find a way to form a cooperation with them. The founders have had their personal freedom violated and have been subjected to bodily harm due to their participation in politics. No one knows about the psychological harm they were subjected to as a result of their participation in public work. Hence, the urgent need to establish an initiative that works to find both short- and long-term solutions, works on women's issues by combating the discrimination against women from an Upper Egyptian perspective, and works to empower and integrate women into society and help them become effective members of their society and nation.
