Brief Description: A group of women who formed an alliance comprising 600 members from 13 communities, including Al-Zuheir al-Sahrawi in Minya. The alliance is divided into small groups—each according to the type of activities it carries out. Groups are run by elected female committees, which are represented by one large steering committee—the main representative of all of the micro-committees. Our alliance aims to raise living standards for disadvantaged women in the communities they are represented by, through providing them with support in the following areas: filing inheritance claims and equality in the workplace lawsuits, fighting for fair wages, and preventing early marriages and FGM.

Assisting female breadwinners to find employment and enrolling them in micro-credit programs for small and medium-sized businesses
