Al-Noor Association for the Blind was licensed in 2011 under Code 1281 at the Ministry of Social Solidarity. It comprises 51% of the general assembly for people with disabilities and operates through various activities which work on raising the status of marginalized groups, especially women with disabilities in Upper Egypt, and the injustice, segregation, and violations that they face. The association follows human rights activism regulations. It also prepares young people for the job market, as part of the activities offered by the women's club, and supports the rights of women with disabilities through the complaint office at the association, which is led by a group of professional paralegals.

Transforming Disability into Energy Project, which aims to empower women and reintegrate 110 young women into the job market
