Heya Association is a development institution licensed under no. 1360 in 2014 by the Social Solidarity Directory. It aims to provide sustainable development for women and families in order to create socially-aware families and a tight-knit community. The association provides comprehensive development through women, mainly, and the family, considering them to be the cornerstones of society, in which women are the nucleus of the family, and the family unit is the building block of society.

Seminars, awareness campaigns, day care centers, employment opportunities, small businesses for women

Past projects

  • "Gameela ya Balady" project supported by the Ministry of Environmental Affairs
  • Seminars on harassment in 4 villages, in collaboration with Harassmap Organization
  • Surveys on child labor were conducted and distributed among organizations in order to measure the impact of previous projects
  • Training courses were held that worked on including women in the job market, as part of a larger project
  • Community schools, in collaboration with the Egyptian Zakat Foundation
  • Micro- and small business projects (e.g., handicrafts)
