The organization operates through volunteers and raises awareness by empowering women, girls, youth, and children to discover their capabilities, develop their skills, and execute their initiatives through participatory transformation, creative ideas, and innovative educational and training programs, which achieve community development within a quality and human rights framework.

  • Adult literacy projects
  • Reproductive health projects
  • Empowering Sohagi girls and women through re-enforcing their rights to education by offering adult literacy classes, their right to good health by organizing awareness programs (early screening for breast cancer, dangers of early marriage, importance of premarital testing), and their rights to work by holding professional courses (handicrafts, hairdressing, and cooking)

Future projects

  • Economic empowerment projects for women within a "Right to Work" framework
  • Empowering women for local council elections, in collaboration with the National Women Council
  • Training girls to cook quick meals and pastries within a "Right to Work" framework
  • Offering grants for trainees (graduates) involved in the nursery development project; grants will be given in the form of resources and materials that would experiment with alternative education techniques for nurseries.
