Chicanos, deportee, ex convicts and people without any roots in México. They all share a common past and find in G.D.L.S.U.R. other homies, a family, and place where they can start over.

*Homie: short for homeboy: a common name with which gang members refer to other people in their gangs.

Synopsis
Tattoos, lowriders, graffiti and an AA sign. The homies gather around the pool table to talk about their lives. They all have a common past. Their parents migrated to the United States in search of a better future, but paradoxically they ended up growing up alone, finding a new family in the gangs. Now they are adults, abject migrants, deported, who´s only option is to reinvent themselves in what once was their country of origin but is now unknown to them. At G.D.L.S.U.R., a rehabilitation center, they find new meaning. A community. A family. A place to start again.
