Teaching Materials
The brochure of the Bildungskooperation Deutsch (BKD) is becoming more and more sustainable! At first, it served purely as information material about the work and offers of the BKD. Then it was redesigned so that it doubles as a birthday calendar for your classroom. Now there are also teaching materials for each calendar page that you can use in your lessons. Here you can download the material free of charge: didactic materials on language level A to C for children and youths.

Activities at Your School
Do you want to motivate your students to actively learn German? Then take a look at our two movement-rich games, which are explained in more detail below! We come to your school and carry out the activities with your support.

Motorway Game
The Autobahn game is a fun and interactive way to introduce students to the language and culture of Germany. The game is especially suitable as an introduction to a new foreign language, but also for beginners as support and motivation on their further learning path. It is also a great way to show students who are in the process of deciding which foreign language to choose how much fun German can be.
During the game, the students travel all over Germany and get to know different German cities through numerous stations spread throughout the school building. At each station, they have to answer questions, solve riddles or complete other tasks and, along the way, learn many interesting facts about the respective city they are "travelling" to. Upon successful completion of the station, the pupils receive a stamp. There are a total of 15 stations where different faculties are challenged, a lot is learned about Germany and the Germans, and points are collected. At the end, the official points table shows who has travelled the German motorway and cities the fastest and most skilfully, and the winners can look forward to a small reward.
Two native speakers will be available as game leaders and at least one teacher will be needed for support.

The Escape Room "Agent Deutschland" was designed by the experienced game developers Maria Lahdenranta and Jan Quilitzsch and provides a lot of excitement and fun while speaking German and learning new things about Germany. First, a briefcase with the puzzles is handed out to each team. The students learn the background story here: a secret service agent (cover name "Agent Germany") has left this briefcase as an entrance exam for future special agents. Inside the briefcase are many items that contain fun facts about Germany; including the following topics: Inventions, important historical figures, interesting regional traditions, celebrities and soccer. At the end of each puzzle, a solution word must be written down that leads to the next puzzle. Which team will manage to open the secret cryptex (the final hiding place) first, and can find the secret "final solution word"?
