Workshop "Research & Displacement of Cultural Heritage from Ethiopia"
The workshop will discuss the mutual relatedness between research and the displacement of cultural heritage from Ethiopia. Using examples from Ethiopia the workshop will critically debate, how research in some cases has been the decisive factor for the dislocation of cultural heritage from its country of origin. Additionally, current research on the dislocation and/or repatriation of cultural heritage from other parts of the world will be discussed.
