Migrating for a job, education or safety? The reasons for leaving one’s country are manifold. The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) collected different answers why people are migrating and created an exhibition which will be shown for the first time in Addis Ababa. In order to introduce a different narrative on migration, the FES commissioned a number of films in which people tell their individual stories. A 10 minutes short film by Joel Haikali from Namibia will be presented, followed by a discussion.
