Goethe-Institut Äthiopien

It’s Tibeb time again! For the third time, the Goethe-Institut and its partners will bring arts to public places in Addis Abeba and celebrate culture. For one week, from 3rd – 10th of May 2019, artists from all kinds of different backgrounds will move around the city, perform in the streets and showcase their works to the public, engaging the passersby of the city in their creative activities.

Do you want to be part of it?

If you want to participate and be one of the artists performing in the open for one week, you can apply with your concept until January 31st.

We are looking for creatives from all disciplines. In the last two years, our colorful program included creatives from the fields of architecture, film, photography, literature, music, painting, circus, gamification and education. We also invite dancers, actors, designers, installation artists, magicians, poets, handicraft artists and others to apply and become part of the Tibeb be Adebabay network.

The Goethe-Institut has successfully organized this culture festival twice. It provides the legal framework, the coordination, logistics and public relations for the project. Besides, we pay a honorarium including your expenses for the program.
