Henrike Grohs Art Award applications close on 15 November 2019! Artists are invited to use the next weeks to send in their application to this award targeted at promoting excellence in visual art on the African continent. The main prize is awarded by an international jury and the winning artist will receive a cash prize of 20.000€ as well as a publication produced to the value of 10.000€ on their work. The Henrike Grohs Art Award is a roving biennial art prize conceived by the Goethe-Institut and the Grohs family in memory of Henrike Grohs, the former Head of Goethe-Institut in Abidjan.
