Showcase + Discussion "Tibeb online Jazz"
Established in 2016, Jazbyssinia Ethio-Jazz Band emerged as the next generation in the Ethiopian jazz scene. The band plays African jazz, fusion jazz, International standard Jazz and rearranged Ethiopian pop.
This month, we have the honor of showcasing on Youtube, Facebook and Instagram the band’s original music composition titled “ደቡብ”, a piece inspired by the polyphonic traditional music from southern Ethiopia.
The Band will then do a breakdown of the song and discuss about the musical structure of jazz on Zoom.
The session will be held in Amharic.
