ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival
In honor of Minna Canth's 175th anniversary, the performance group Nesterval, based in Vienna, will take the audience to an immersive theater adventure inspired by the work of the Finnish writer and social activist.
The performance is a dramatic story of a wedding that remixes the dark reality of the 19th century feminist literature, the Austrian Heimat movie and the life of mountain farmers.
The audience is actively involved in the performance and may join in the quest for the magic of the longing for a home, and tries to answer the big questions about alienation, violence, love and guilt.
