This autumn’s third Breakfast@Goethe with Katja Herlemann and E.L. Karhu at Goethe-Institut Finnland. They will talk about playwriting in Germany and Finland and co-working between a dramaturge and a playwright.
 
Katja Herlemann is a German dramaturge and producer, currently part of the artistic team at Schauspiel Frankfurt. She will come to Finland to hold a workshop for Finnish playwrights and dramaturges and to participate in the Finnish Drama Festival (Kotimaisen näytelmän festivaali). 

E.L. Karhu is a Finnish playwright. Her play Prinsessa Hamlet – sarjakuvatragedia / Prinzessin Hamlet - eine Tragödie im Comic-Format was published by Rowohlt Theaterverlag in German, translated by Stefan Moster, in 2018. Her new play ERIOPIS - Medeian selviytyjätytär kertoo kaiken / ERIOPIS - Medeas überlebende Tochter erzählt alles, is having its world premiere in Schauspiel Leipzig in 2020.

Breakfast@Goethe is a series of gatherings where Goethe-Institut’s guests from Germany meet artists and experts based in Finland and exchange ideas about current topics while enjoying breakfast together. This Breakfast will be part of Finnish Drama Festival, which is a co-operation of Kansallisteatteri, Nordic Drama Corner, Agency North, Suomen Näytelmäkirjailijat ja Käsikirjoittajat ry, Labbet, Uno - Uuden näytelmän ohjelma and Teksti-yhteisö.
