  • Be receptive to different languages and cultures.
  • Develop self-confidence, as well as confidence in others.
  • Recognise some similarities and differences between languages.
  • Develop an awareness of the importance of environmental protection.
  • Develop the imagination by reading documentary and picture books.
  • Express your knowledge: presentation about ants, drawings, identifying well-known poems or texts (Desnos, La Fontaine...).
  • Express what we may understand from the music and rhythm of a song.
  • Identify key words in a song/story.
  • Use skills in situations involving physical communication: learn to observe, listen, react to the unknown, etc.
  • Mime a short story.

  • Memorise a rhyme or verse.
  • Recreate the world of the ants (from the story or song), focusing on the words you have learnt (by a picture book or display), use different art forms (drawing, painting, collage..).
  • Show you understand how ants work, research scientific documents and books.
