We have a rich variety of cultural programmes and we are proud to present them in multimedia formats. Here you can find our podcasts and film programmes that will introduce you to themes and debates that dominate German and British culture whilst providing the opportunity to improve your German language skills. 

Goethe-Kino in London

Our monthly film series, Goethe Cinema, showcases current German cinema, award-winning TV productions and timeless film classics, carefully selected and curated by our film expert Maren Hobein. Unless otherwise stated, all films are shown with English subtitles. The screenings take place on the last Wednesday of each month at the Goethe-Institut London. Ten days after the cinema screening, our curated film selection is also available online.

Goethe on Demand

On Goethe on Demand, the online streaming platform of the Goethe-Institut, we present a variety of online film programmes, film festivals and film series that can be streamed from home. The films are presented in original language with subtitles. They are free of charge after registration.
