The Goethe-Institut London has decided to withdraw from Language World 2020, scheduled for 13–14 March at Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel. In view of the public facing nature of this particularly popular conference involving hundreds of visitors from across the UK, this is a precautionary measure to minimise any risk for visitors, exhibitors and staff.

We express our deep regret for having to withdraw from the event. We are closely monitoring developments of the impact of COVID-19 at local and global levels and we are following advice provided by the UK and German Governments and the World Health Organization (WHO).
