Due to the current situation, the Goethe-Institut London is closed to the public. The 3 seminars will be given online until further notice.

The Goethe-Institut offers the second unique teacher training course DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) Modul 4 which incorporates the principle of professional development through collaborative action research.

Teachers of German can:

• enhance their current language and communication skills and competencies
• broaden their understanding of MFL pedagogy
• cover the content in module 4 “Übungen, Aufgaben, Interaktionen” and learn
  • how to evaluate the quality of learning activities and exercises they plan for their lessons
  • the importance of learning objectives and how to devise tasks and activities that achieve the intended learning outcomes
  • the pedagogical principles forming the basis for the teaching of foreign languages
  • how to devise exercises and activities to support interactive learning
• experience how a teacher-led investigative model supports CPD and how this classroom based research can be facilitated
• discover how learning by experiencing, and observing with professional support and interaction, enhances:
  • training of strategies for independent, professional development
  • the development of more task-based and interactive teaching
  • the exchange of best practice examples, ideas and insights.

Blended learning brings together the best aspects of the internet:

• offering participants the opportunity to work in their own time
• collaborating with the group in online activities
• receiving ongoing online support from experienced teacher trainers Liz Black and Sabine Junker.
