Career Roadshow in Keele, Portsmouth and Lancashire

Our next career roadshows for spring and summer are planned in Keele, Portsmouth and Lancashire.

German Teachers’ Day
for Secondary School Teachers

Keeping all learners in mind:

On 21 March 2026, the Goethe-Institut London invites secondary school teachers to a professional development day focusing on teaching German in diverse classrooms. The programme offers practical workshops, new teaching ideas and opportunities for professional exchange.

Gimagine Award – Now an Approved Activity Provider with the DofE!

Great news: The Friends of the Goethe-Institut UK have become an Approved Activity Provider with the DofE, offering German as a skill via the Gimagine Award. Since September, participants have been able to register directly with FGI UK and complete their entire skills section (including the assessment) in one go!

Exchange programme for young people

Exchange2Change: Kicking-Off Connections

"Exchange2Change Kicking-Off Connections" is an exchange programme for young people, aged between 14 and 17 during the exchange phase, who live in the United Kingdom or Germany. As part of a group, exchangers connect throug playing football and collaboratively develop a creative project, partly virtual and partly during stays in Mönchengladbach (North Rhine-Westphalia) and London (United Kingdom).
