About Steve Eadon
Steve started learning German in school. He says about himself that he was a reluctant learner at first, but eventually became more open to it, more confident in his ability, and eventually continued to study German as part of his university degree. After graduating, he joined Arsenal FC as a community football coach. Steve's role involved promoting languages in schools, training new coaches around the world, and interacting with globally recognised footballers including Mesut Özil, Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker. After leaving Arsenal, Steve launched his own business, sharing his story in schools across the UK about how languages, and in particular German, have opened more doors in his life and career than he could ever have imagined.
