An introduction day for German foreign language assistants about to start placements in UK schools.
The induction days in London are for PAD assistants in South England and South Wales – all areas below a Birmingham-Leicester line. The induction day in Manchester is for assistants in North England and North Wales – all areas above a Birmingham-Leicester line up to the Scottish border.
Alongside information on the British education system and services offered by German-British cultural organisations, there are useful tips on the methodology and didactics of teaching German in British schools. It is also a great network opportunity to meet other assistants.
The event is organised in co-operation with the British Council.
Registration is essential and is only possible with the online registration form. All PAD foreign language assistants will receive an e-mail invititation.
The induction day will be repeated on different days, so please only register for one of the offered dates.
