The Universities of Birmingham and Bristol are offering two CPD days for local secondary school teachers of German. The days are designed to support teachers in delivering the new GCSE and A-level syllabus. The CPD days will provide a forum to discuss the challenges facing German teachers at all levels and how we might work together to overcome them.

The event will take place at the University of Birmingham on 16 October 2017. Thanks to the generosity of the DAAD the university is able to offer up to £60 per participant as a contribution towards supply cover during the teacher’s absence from school. To access this funding, the participant must demonstrate that they would otherwise be unable to attend. Lunch and refreshments are also provided.
