Free event for students of German in years 10 and 11

The Farlingaye High School in Woodbridge, Suffolk invites you to this year's German Conference event. It is taking place on Saturday 19 November 2016. This is an exciting opportunity aimed at talented linguists currently studying German in years 10 and 11. There will be a new range of talks and workshops this year, so students who attended last year are welcome to attend again. Students can attend on their own, or together with their teachers.
 
The University of Cambridge, the University of Essex, the University of East Anglia, the German Embassy, the Farlingaye High School MFL Department and others will deliver a range of talks and workshops on:
  • Career options with German
  • Studying Modern Languages at University
  • Studying and working abroad
  • German culture and language
There will be an opportunity to speak to students currently studying German in KS5. Light refreshments will be provided.
 
Due to the generous support of the Think German Network at the University of East Anglia and a contribution from the Association for Language Learning, the Farlingaye High School offers this great opportunity free of charge. Please be aware that places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Certificates will be available for all participants.
