The Goethe-Institut offers the unique teacher training course DLL (Deutsch Lehren Lernen) Modul 10 which incorporates the principle of professional development through collaborative action research.

Teachers of German can:
  • enhance their current language and communication skills and broaden their understanding of didactics
  • cover the content in module 10 “DaF für Jugendliche” and learn about the latest research in the psychology of language acquisition, how the brains of young learners function and its relevance for effective language teaching
  • discover how learning by experiencing, and observing with professional support and interaction, enhances:
    • training of strategies for independent, professional development
    • the exchange of best practice examples, ideas and insights
    • creating exercises for activity-based, interactive lessons

Blended learning brings together the best aspects of the internet as it offers participants the opportunity to work in their own time and to collaborate with the group in online activities while receiving support from experienced teacher trainers Liz Black and Sabine Junker.
