The Goethe-Institut Glasgow is delighted to offer a science workshop in German. It is aimed at secondary school pupils who have been studying German for at least 3 years.
The workshop promotes the concept of STEM teaching combined with German and links to core subjects which are part of the curricula in Northwestern Europe. It informs students about the recent research projects of German scientists, showcases future prospects and focuses on the topic of studying in Germany.
The organisation Native Scientists recruits German scientists and offers a workshop on 05 May 2017 at 11am at the Goethe-Institut Glasgow. The scientists will be specially prepared to work with secondary school pupils.
The workshop takes about 1.5 hours during which the students are involved in different experiments (4 scientists will work with 5 students each). Separated into small groups (speed-dating principle), they learn about new experiments and simultaneously study the German language. .
