Choreographer Bouchra Ouizguen’s Corbeaux is performed by ten women from Morocco and ten from London, brought together in a series of workshops to develop the piece. There will be two shows, 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm.

Presented as part of Park Nights 2017, the Serpentine’s experimental, interdisciplinary live platform, programmed for the Galleries’ annual architectural commission, the Serpentine Pavilion – which is this year supported by the Goethe-Institut.

Bouchra Ouizguen is an award-winning Moroccan dancer and choreographer who lives and works in Marrakech, where she has been developing the local dance scene for nearly 20 years. Her first experimental pieces, such as Ana Ounta or Mort et moi, were inspired by her interests in cinema, literature and music. She co-founded the Anania association in 2002 with Taoufiq Izeddiou before she founded her own company, Company O. Her interests in society, visual arts and popular arts in her country inform her work, where multiple forms emerge through the use of sound, performance and video.
