A competition for a work shadowing visit to Germany

We are pleased to announce a one week work shadowing visit from 21 October to 28 October 2017 to Schwäbisch Hall in Germany.

The participants should be between 16 and 17 years old with GCSE-level German and will have the opportunity to experience work in a small or medium sized German company. They will also have language tuition and guidance on Germany today as well as short excursions in the local surroundings.

The task for students who want to take part in our competition is:
Design a logo for the “Friends of the Goethe-Institut London”, a group of prestigious companies who support the educational work of the Goethe-Institut in the UK.

Only digital entries will be accepted. Participants in the competition will declare that they are willing to take part in the visit to Schwäbisch Hall. Before taking part in the competition it will be necessary to secure permission from legal representatives as well as teachers. A formal declaration of permission by the legal representative of the participant will be required before the visit to Germany.

The winners of the entries will agree to pass on the copyright of their design to the “Friends of the Goethe-Institut London” free of charge.

To take part in the competition the students should fill out the form below and send it together with their design to: teacher-services-london@goethe.de. We recommend for the interested students to use the time of the summer break for creating their design as the deadline for entries is 15 September 2017.

The competition is supported by the “Friends of the Goethe-Institut London”.
