The Point Where Dance and Art Meet

Siobhan Davies Dance is known for working at the intersection of dance and visual art, having created a number of dance works for galleries, facilitated collaborations between dance artists and visual artists, and held frequent visual art exhibitions at Siobhan Davies Studios.

For 2017/18, the Traces Commissions invites 3 visual artists to spend time in Siobhan Davies Studios getting to know the dance and choreographic practices it houses and creating new work resulting from this contact.

The Goethe-Institut London is proud to be supporting their first commission this season: Katinka Bock tests the boundaries of the building, inside and out.
