Talk by Claudia Zeiske about her project "Home to Home" on the 11th of June.
Home to Home was a 90 day secular pilgrimage by Claudia Zeiske in Summer 2017, walking from her home in Huntly to visit her mother at her childhood home near Munich. Documented through the daily writing of post cards and the picking of oak leaves, the 1800 km walk created a unique route linking old and new friends, exchanging leaves and woollen path spun bracelets, while contemplating ideas for back home.
Home to Home encourages people to take time and think about one's own intentions in the wider global content. Creating a path of personal significance allows us to reflect on what holds us to being a citizen of the world, and what home means in our current geopolitical situation with rising nationalism in mind.
