Do you remember the Fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989? For many East and West Germans this was a major event in their lives which they will never forget. It virtually changed the lives of many of them. In our November Deutsche Runde meeting, we will look back at the events of 1989 and find out what people make of the ‘Change’ today and what path many regions of the former GDR have followed since then. Prepare to be surprised! As always, your input and willingness to participate in a lively discussion are much welcomed!

'Deutsche Runde' is an informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture. It is ideal for learners with some knowledge of German (B1 and higher). We meet once a month on a Thursday afternoon.

Participation is free of charge. You can register via Eventbrite, but it is not essential to do so.
