When was your last day out to the seaside? Or do you have wonderful seaside memories from your childhood or a holiday? In our first meeting of the new term, we will describe experiences, memories, feelings, typical items and scents associated with a holiday at the coast and find out about lovely coastal destinations in Germany. We will revise speaking about past events and useful vocabulary associated with descriptions. There will also be a quiz on specific German words you need to know before embarking on a visit of some of its lovely coastal towns and islands. As always, your lively team input and a sense of humour are required!
'Deutsche Runde' is an informal gathering and exchange around a chosen topic of German language or culture. It is ideal for learners with some knowledge of German (B1 and higher). We meet once a month on a Thursday afternoon.
