Join us for a reception at the Goethe-Institut to mark Meeting Points, the first collaboration between The Work Room and Tanzbüro München.
Meeting Points brings together independent choreographers from Scotland and Germany. The choreographers - Sahra Huby & Ceren Oran from Germany and Rob Heaslip and Tamsyn Russell from Scotland - are coming together for the first time in Glasgow in the context of Dance International Glasgow, to share practice, see work together and discuss the dance context in Scotland. As part of this event, they will be in conversation about their individual choreographic practices and approaches to collaboration.
The second stage of the project will see the artists meet in Munich in March 2020. Through this project, The Work Room and Tanzbüro München hope to begin a long-term exchange and cooperative relationship between the organisations, and seed creative collaborations between independent choreographers in Scotland and Germany.
