A night with Yogendra Ahimi

Every first Wednesday of the Month young artists will be provided a platform to showcase their artistic creations to an open-minded audience on the unique terrace of the Goethe-Institut in Accra. Unplugged and diverse solo performances bathed in warm light create a serene atmosphere that encourages an intense one-to-one exchange between artist and audience. The culinary well-being will be guaranteed by the Goethe Canteen.

An ABANSURO night with  Yoogendra Ahimi

Yogendra Ahimi Perishkah was exposed to diverse styles of music at a tender age by his family and the media in general. He later fell in love with poetry and started performing as a student in school and church.
At the age of 17, he managed to purchase a guitar and taught himself how to play. Since then, he has performed both poetry and music to diverse audiences in various locations. These include Piano Bar, +233 Jazz Bar and Grill, Alliance Française, WEB DuBois Centre and many others.
He has shared stages with several musicians including the Australia based Ghanaian icon Afro Moses, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Lady Talata, guitarist Kyekyeku and flute dynamo Dela Botri during performances in Accra and beyond.
