Every year the voluntary organization INPUT holds an important and influential conference dedicated to public television programs worldwide. Accra will host one of its satellite conferences, the so-called
MiniINPUT Accra from Wednesday September 12 to Friday September 14, 2018.
Assuming that an honest, innovative, provocative, courageous, and challenging broadcasting is a universal fundamental human right, this conference provides a unique professional development opportunity for people who want to contribute to public television. INPUT sees its objective in promoting the role of public service television as a driving force for change in societies. It equally assists TV professionals in fulfilling the educational, cultural and social aspects of their mission while serving as a platform for exchanging experiences and information on all facets of television. Following this, participants can benefit from sharing human, material (and financial) resources that may push the boundaries of television content and style.
MiniINPUT Accra aims to meet these requirements by screening, debating and evaluating the most outstanding works that were presented at the main conference in New York, USA (2018) by offering a workshop and stakeholders meeting.
Goethe-Institut Ghana is offering 10
scholarships including travel and accommodation costs to enable 10 students from the regions to participate in MiniINPUT Accra 2018 from Monday, September 10, to Tuesday September, 11, in Accra. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE MiniINPUT CONFERENCE, WHICH OPENS ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 12 AND ENDS ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 14, 2018.
If you are studying in the fields of film, television, audiovisual communications or journalism and you are living outside of Greater Accra, apply for the scholarship!
Interested participants should send their CV and a half page motivation letter indicating their interest.
