Elizabeth Otto

Elizabeth Otto（Libby）是紐約州立大學水牛城分校現代和當代藝術史與視覺研究副教授，由2003年起擔任Humanities Institute (HI) 的執行董事。她在HI的工作專注於支持教師和研究生研究和出版物，並嘗試通過公共人文學科之間的合作擴大觀眾群，其中最重要的項目是由她2004年創辦的水牛城人文節。
 
Libby的研究重點是二十世紀早期的視覺和媒體文化。她寫過許多學術論文，她是《Bauhaus Women: A Global Perspective》 (Bloomsbury, 2019) (Bloomsbury, 2019) 和展覽《Bauhausmädels/Bauhaus Gals》目錄的合著者。她共同編輯了四本書：《Bauhaus Bodies: Gender, Sexuality, and Body Culture in Modernism’s Legendary Art School 》(Bloomsbury，2019)、《Art and Resistance in Germany》(Bloomsbury，2019) 、《Passages of Exile》（Edition Text + Kritik，2017）和《The New Woman International: Representations in Photography and Film from the 1870s through the 1960s》（密歇根大學出版社，2011年）。2005年，她創作了《Tempo，Tempo！The Bauhaus Photomontages of Marianne Brandt》（Jovis Verlag，2006年），並為柏林的Bauhaus-Archiv，哈佛的布希雷辛格博物館和紐約的國際攝影中心策劃了同名展覽。
