Book Series
January 2021: Nachgefragt
What is politics? What is human rights and democracy? How do we explain world religions, flight and integration? What do we talk about when we talk about philosophy and economics? These are difficult questions, but the answers do not have to be complicated and incomprehensible. In the Nachgefragt series, supposedly complicated social and political issues are explained to young people from the age of 12 in an understandable and true-to-life way using a question-answer structure.
The books in this non-fiction series have been awarded various prizes, including Book of the Month of the German Academy for Children's and Youth Literature (January 2009), nomination for the Gustav Heinemann Peace Prize (2004), Youth Non-Fiction Prize of the Association for the Promotion of Reading e.V. and Schwäbisch-Gmünd (2009).
