Inspired by escape rooms, and combining physical elements with augmented reality, NETZAGENTEN offers a new experience to all German learners to use their German while boosting detective and teamwork skills.

A Mixed-Reality/Escape Room Game for German learners

The story:
A hacker has published the private data of over a million users in the internet. Equipped with iPads, participants will become a special agent on the hunt for the anonymous hacker. The main questions are: Who is the hacker and where is he now? To get to the bottom of this participants will need to discover hidden clues and solves riddles in the game. Communication and team work are the key to success. The fictitious hunt for the hacker becomes an exciting cultural expedition into the world of young people in Germany. The topics range from festival culture in Germany to hip-hop, veganism and current sport trends.

Who can participate?
- Anyone with a German language level A2 or above

Where to play?
- The library of Goethe-Institut Hongkong becomes a crime scene where the anonymous hacker has left his traces behind.

Duration: 60 – 75 minutes
