Tanja Selzer lives and works in Berlin. She completed her studies at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in the design department. Her focus is on painting.
Since 2005, her works have been shown in Germany and abroad and are represented in public and private collections.

She has participated in exhibitions at the Museum der Bildenden Künste in Leipzig, the Georg-Kolbe-Museum in Berlin and the Haus am Lützowplatz in Berlin.

"Writing about sexuality and sensuality," says Anaïs Nin, "has nothing to do with pornography. For me, writing about eroticism is wild poetry." This also applies to Tanja Selzer's painting. She too is interested in the voyeuristic gaze of a society that, however, rarely openly admits to it.

Selzer is a member of the MalerinnenNetzWerk Berlin-Leipzig and Saloon Berlin.
