"I stand for the visualization of the visible and invisible. The theme of my painting is always the search for the origin, the essence of everything. The central theme for me is being human, in this world and in connection with our cosmos. In search of the lowest common denominator, I roam through the image archives of the most diverse times and cultures. In the painting process itself, through the layering of the most diverse motifs and energies, an image body emerges that also grows out of our collective subconscious."
