Join us for a circuit tour of Hong Kong Cultural Heritage in the form of an AR-supported Urban Walk on this Saturday, November 4, 2023! The walk is an accompanying programme of the exhibtion THE PRESENT IN THE FUTURE IS THE PAST.

We will meet at the Goethe-Gallery located on the 14/F of the Hong Kong Arts Centre at 10:00AM, and take the following routes in our tour:

(1) Ding Ding tramway to the (2) Yick Cheong Building (Transformer Building) in Quarry Bay, from there walk to the former (3) State Theatre (North Point). There, we will take the ferry to Kowloon City to visit (4) Kowloon Walled City (Kowloon City). After that, we take the minibus to (5) Lui Seng Chun building (Sham Shui Po) for a visit, and walk from there to (6) the Fruit Market (Yau Ma Tei). Finally we take the MTR to TST and ride the (7) Star Ferry back to Central and conclude at (8) Central Market (Central).

Enroute, we will use the AR app to show the images created by our workshop participants to show the past, present, and future of these iconic Hong Kong Cultural Heritage sites, providing context to the exhibition.

The guided tour is free of charge and lasts for 1.5 - 2 hours. Please note that participants will pay for their own transportation during the tour.
