Berlin has long been a haven for queer people from around the world—some arrive by choice, others by necessity. Queer Exile Berlin follows six activists and their stories reflect the evolving spectrum of queer identities and the ongoing political struggles within and beyond Berlin. As the third part of a documentary trilogy, the film weaves personal journeys with historical and contemporary issues, capturing Berlin as a city of transformation, longing, and resistance.
