Contemporary experimental music
After publishing their debut single Binatang, Sarana are now involved in split and collaborative recording projects with local and international noise music artists, and have lately released Heals – a mini album portraying the various ways of self-healing.

Sarana was born out of a coincidence that brought Sabrina Eka Felisiana, Annisa Maharani, and Istanara Julia Saputri together. On 14 May 2015, a Noise collective in Samarinda had one vacant performance slot for their show. Sabrina, already engaged in Noise music performance, spontaneously asked Annisa and Istanara to join her on stage. Since then the coincidental project has developed into a respectable, experimental dark ambient experimental formation.
