Thank you for your enthusiasm in registering for the Silent Book Club at the Goethe-Institut Jakarta Library. The registration quota for January to December is already full. However, a limited number of seats are available in the outdoor area of the library for those who still wish to participate. We kindly ask you to arrive on time and use public transportation. Thank you for your understanding.
The Goethe-Institut Jakarta Library and Baca Bareng Silent Book Club invite book lovers to come together for silent reading sessions, with no restrictions on what to read, no discussions involved and no assignments.

Simply bring your own book or select something from the Goethe-Institut Jakarta Library's collection. Spend an hour immersed in silence with fellow readers each month.

Baca Bareng Silent Book Club
Established in 2019 with just ten participants, the club has grown steadily with each gathering. Baca Bareng’s core activity is sharing in 60 minutes of silent reading, free from the expectations to discuss or network. Baca Bareng believes in an inclusive reading space, where everyone has the right to enjoy the simple pleasure of reading.
